Privacy, in plain English.

EchoWerks uses its own NAS-hosted tools to understand basic site health and respond to requests. The site does not use third-party advertising trackers, sell visitor information, or collect GPS location through public pages.

First-party site analytics

The server records aggregate requests, page views, response time, transferred bytes, visited path, a randomly generated visitor identifier, country code supplied by the network edge, and a masked IP prefix. Full IP addresses and precise location are not stored in the analytics file.

Visitor and hourly records are removed after 31 days. Aggregate totals may remain for long-term system-health comparisons.

Product and access requests

When you submit a Trash Stash interest form or local-model access request, EchoWerks stores the information you enter so Trevor can review and reply. Those forms do not create an account, place an order, or grant automatic access.

Request records are not sold or used for third-party advertising.

Protected tools and accounts

Protected tool accounts, permissions, and password hashes are stored on the EchoWerks NAS. Passwords are not stored in readable form. Authentication cookies are Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite=Lax.

Projects saved on your device

Commercial AV and Crestron Home projects remain in your browser’s local storage until you export, submit, or delete them. EchoWerks cannot read a locally saved project merely because it exists on your device.

Your analytics choice

EchoWerks honors the Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by avoiding visitor-level analytics. You can also turn visitor-level analytics off below. Aggregate page and server-health counts may continue without a visitor identifier, masked IP, or country attached to you.

To ask what is stored, correct a product-interest request, or request deletion, use the contact form on the main site. Include the email address used in the original request so EchoWerks can locate the matching record.
